I had one of these and it worked quite well with Windows XP.
When I switched to Windows Vista, it no longer worked. I liked it well enough to buy one of the new ones that was “Vista Compatible”. Well, the board may be, but the supplied software is not.
I sent several emails to the company and never got a reply.

Impressed with the reviews and ready for some issues with non-intuitive software I started working with this product with some anticipation of delight.
What I’ve found so far is the hands down worst — and I do mean worst — set of instructions I’ve ever come across. Not just the conflicting instructions but the software isn’t just ‘not intuitive’ it seems directly designed to thwart the user. Visiting the website is an fun experience: [...] This is their page for control manager in their knowledge base…you’ll note it’s E M P T Y.
So far, I’ve followed the convoluted help so far — I’ve read it end to end twice — and I’ve YET to see a key be recognized in any application other than the control manager’s “calibration” window. It’s so bad I can’t tell if I’ve missed an esoteric step in the setup or if there’s an actual problem with the device.
I choose this product b/c it was extensible to > 25 keys. I should have gone with a CHEAPER product that wasn’t designed by complete idiots. I haven’t seen software this poorly designed since…no, sorry, I’ve been using and writing software since 1980 and this is the among the top 5 poorest.

I have two of these keyboards and the optional extended keys (26-50). The keyboard works exactly as described. I have found both the device and the software easy to use. It is marketed mainly as a device for flight simulators, but with imagination, this very flexible keyboard can do amazing things. I have set mine up to work with flight simulators, fps, strategy and driving games. I have also set it up to run productivity software. I love it for both. The keyboard is excellent for repetitive and specialized tasks in graphic editing. The software makes it very easy to program short macros and multiple keystrokes to any key. I have set up the keys to fit my hands perfectly making response times very fast. I have programmed the keys to make complex key sequences very easy to accomplish and remember. I would recommend buying the extra faceplates and keys. This allows you to have a custom keyboard for each app you use always set up. The box includes a large variety of labels for the keys. I use mine in a darkened work space, so I have placed glow-in-the-dark tape on the keys and then used a brother label maker to create black on clear labels for each key. The luminescent tape glows behind the black characters and gives the effect of a led keyboard. Templates for flight simulators are available on the CH web site, but I found making my own in photo shop was better. For many applications the templates are really not necessary. I have owned mine for about a year and have had no problems. My only complaint would be the high price. It would be nice to see this come down. Overall, this is a fantastic tool, and I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it strongly.

The Mfp Fully Programmable Panel is all it claimed to be, and all that I hoped it would be. It is especially helpful to those of us who have extremely short memories regarding the key combinations of flight functions! This device is one of the most important add-ons to my flight simulator, second only to the stick and throttle.
Setup is not difficult if you take the time to read and follow instructions. The “stick and remove” buttons really work amazingly well. Was it worth the price? It certainly was to me. I say give it a try!

Product works great and is very flexible. Each key can be programmed in multiple ways. Button feel is excellent, and is very easy to arrange them as desired.
